Engines


Project 46 of Parent Aircraft Manufacturing Inc. will be offered in two different models:

• Ultralight model for the American market. The aircraft equipped with a 2-stroke engine, at the cutting edge of technology. Carrying 5 gallons of gas, it will fly at a maximum speed of 63 MPH and a landing speed of 28 MPH, for a range of 2.4 hours. Empty dry weight will be 254 lbs and a gross weight of 625 lbs.


• Ultralight model for the Canadian / American LSA market. The aircraft will be equipped with a 4-stroke engine. Carrying 10.831 gallons of gasoline, it will fly at a speed of 65 MPH and a landing speed of 33 MPH, for a range of 5.41 hours. Empty dry weight will be 295 lbs and a gross weight of 631 lbs.

The first prototype will be an ultralight Canadian, equipped with a 4-stroke engine. The structure will have all the provisions to be able to add thereafter floats.
